Get a brand-new boiler to keep warm this wintertime

Central heating is the best way of getting ready for when wintertime approaches with its longer nights and freezing temperatures. You can guarantee yourself a comfortable and enjoyable house with a central heating system that is safe and reliable.

Most heating systems compromise of a heating boiler; central heating radiator and pipework, there are basically two different sorts of gas central heating systems, one being a pumped system and the other being a vented system.

The most frequently used system of the two is probably the pumped systems, these comprise of a feed and expansion tank, which works by the central heating boiler heating up which then distributes the heat through the pipes to the heaters. The expansion tank will always allow for any water expansion that may occur as it gets hot.

The vented gas central heating system, on the other hand, is a sealed system, and it doesn’t have the centre section. Since it is totally sealed, the feed-expansion tanks are not required. A sealed gas central heating system removes the risk of water leakage, airlock formation and pipe freeze (a common problem in the harsh winters of countries like Russia).

So Why Do I need a gas central heating System?.

The simple answer is that it will allow you to heat your entire home or office quickly without compromising the air quality. Before the central heating system came into existence, other heaters like electric and storage heaters were used to keep the home warm or even coal fires. But the main drawbacks with these, were that they made the air somewhat dry and hard, as well as letting off a slight smell.

With gas central heating systems, these problems are not encountered, but your gas central heating system will require regular maintenance. Many families only use their central heating during the cold months and leave them entirely unused during the summer, this is a common error. It is more prudent to routinely switch on the system in autumn as wintertime approaches, so that any hitches can be repaired by summoning a central heating expert well in time.

Furthermore, some of these systems also give admission to air and dirt; therefore emptying is a necessity, which should be done regularly with an annual service schedule. To flush the system, open the valve carefully and drain the collected water into a bucket, while ensuring that no further water gets into the heating system.
